The secret ingredient is love
People often ask me what the secret ingredient is in my spring rolls. My daughter asks me the same question every now and then, and my answer is always the same: love. Because whatever you create, you should create it with care. And that's something you can taste.
My passion for Asian cuisine is deeply rooted in my heritage.
With a grandmother from Thailand who also had Chinese roots, and a grandfather from Indonesia, I grew up surrounded by authentic flavours, traditional recipes, and the understanding that exceptional food begins with respect for the ingredients and process. That philosophy is at the heart of every spring roll I make.
No mass production. Just craftsmanship.

Poached & hand-pulled chicken
No processed filling, no minced chicken. The chicken is gently poached in my own blend of natural Asian aromatics, then hand-pulled into fine strips so it keeps its texture and juiciness.
Naturally fermented cabbage
The cabbage is finely shredded and fermented naturally with a carefully measured amount of salt. Once ready, it is gently pressed to remove excess moisture, preserving its pure flavour and giving it the perfect texture.
Traditionally Wok-Fried
Everything comes together in the wok with my own crafted blend of herbs and spices, building a rich, layered depth of flavour.
Rolled by hand, every single one
Every spring roll receives the same care and attention as the last. A small culinary work of art.

“In the end, the one ingredient you can never buy is love for the craft.”

Lonnie's Tip
No deep fryer? No problem.
Heat a layer of oil in a frying pan so that about one-third of the spring roll is submerged. Cook over medium heat and regularly spoon some of the hot oil over the top of the spring roll while frying. Turn occasionally and repeat the process until golden brown and crispy.
This method gives you a deliciously crispy result while using significantly less oil than traditional deep-frying.
